Plitvice Blooody Easter was an armed conflict between the Croatian police and the insurgent Serbs in the area of the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The armed conflict claimed the life of the Croatian policeman Josip Jovic, the first Croatian defender killed in the War. Seven other policemen were injured.
